Sherling & Sons Ltd is the major Irish stockholding and distribution business in the Sherling Steel Group, delivering daily to most parts of the country. With more than 16,000 tonnes on site and next day access to a further 20,000 tonnes across other group sites, it is uniquely placed to meet the just-in-time delivery requirements of the fabrication and engineering sectors.

Alongside the full range of structural and merchant steel products the unit also houses our largest shotblast and prime line in Ireland and a fast turn saw cutting facility providing both cut to length and bevel cut services. Additional processing services from other sites within the group include profiling, beam welding, automated shear/punch and cambering.

As part of the Sherling Steel group we have access to all of the major and specialist steel mills. Our purchasing power and expertise enables us to source both volume and non-standard products at the best available lead time and cost.

Based in Inchicore, Dublin, Sherling and Sons Ltd was first registered in Cork in 1936 before moving to Dublin in 1948. It is now the head office and distribution hub of the largest privately owned steel stockholding and services business in Ireland.
